Resumen
Solidaridad Latam is an international NGO that helps small commodity producers in developing countries.
Problem
In this context, I was tasked with designing an app to help small miners improve the negotiation of mineral prices.
Solution
Based on previous client research, it was determined that an auction system would help broaden the quantity and quality of proposals.
My Role
Information architecture.
Interaction design.
Usability testing.
Scope
I joined a team consisting of the client, a business consultant, and a UX researcher who provided insights gathered from their research.
Information Architecture
To simplify the process, I integrated wireframes with the user flow. The graphic below illustrates the interaction between the three user roles: miner, mineral-buying plant, and the app administrator.
UI
I designed minimalist interfaces with linear navigation, featuring a prominent 'next' button, considering a significant percentage of users with older age, vision problems, small screens, and low digital literacy.
Usability Testing
I conducted in-person usability tests using the Maze tool to record interactions and analyze them afterward.
Client Feedback
In my work, I aim to be punctual, reliable, and competent. I'm pleased that I was able to convey this in this project.
